Guys – I’m SUPER EXCITED to be doing our Let There Be Light workshop again!!
We took a little break from hosting workshops last year after our boys were born and now I’m itching to get these going again! And I especially love hosting a workshop where all we do is talk about ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING!! We’ve made a few improvements since our last workshop – the most important one was moving it to a LARGER space!! In the past we hosted this at our home, but it was a little too tight to really get to practice as much as I’d hoped. So this time we are hosting it at the gorgeous Chez Event Space in downtown Chicago (pictured below)!!
On top of that we also stretched it to 5-hours long (since last time we ran 2 hours over the original 3-hours I thought it would take anyway!), added a styled shoot, and are also including lunch!! 🙂 Even though it is in a bigger space – it still will only be open to a limited number of attendees to keep it intimate and so I can give one-on-one attention throughout the day!!
Think of it as a day of hanging out, nerding out about lighting (I’m a lighting neeeerrrrd), along with demonstrations, and hands-on learning for all attendees to shoot using different lighting scenarios that we commonly come across on a wedding day! (i.e. family formals in a church, details in a dimly lit ballroom, reception lighting – toasts, candids, first dance, etc – and heaven forbid… indoor bride & groom portraits if it is pouring outside!)
