Happy Monday, friends!! I realized I haven’t done a house update in quite a while, and since we are FINALLY settling in – I had to give you an update! I’m showing you the bits we have furnished and decorated so far and will continue to update more thoroughly room by room as we settle in more!! There is still a TON to do – like install the additional kitchen cabinets we just bought for the empty wall near the guest room; find a mirror & build the bookcase for the dining room; build the dresser for our bedroom and hang the curtains; finish the backyard (James has been yanking those massive weeds out like a champ!); get the pantry put together so we can finally unpack all the boxes in our breakfast nook; oh and … move all our clothes out of the nursery & get started on that – – but… BUT! – we are getting there one project at a time and it is so rewarding to see it all come together!!

First up is the front yard – which we’ve made a lot of changes to since we moved in! We dug up the beds, planted flowers (looots of bulbs thanks to my mom’s help!), lilacs, a crab apple tree, and lots more! I’m more excited to see the “after” photo a few years down the road when all those things are blooming!
