Oh my gosh – did we have a wild day leading up to this session!! The weather was looking absolutely awful – but because these two are crazy busy hardworking folks there wasn’t an option to reschedule and so we stuck it out and wished for the best! The good news is that the gloom and doom stopped seriously just before we started their session!! When it was time to start shooting the sun came out and we had the most perfect evening for an engagement session in the city!! It was even better thanks to the rain because everybody else in the city seemed to be avoiding the outdoors, which made for a really peaceful and serene night for their shoot. 🙂 I had the best time wandering around Lurie Garden with Kelly and Dave, and closed out the night with a gorgeous view of the Chicago skyline!
