Stitch Fix Review ~ Month 6

Happy Monday, beautiful people!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and stayed nice and warm! 🙂

I got my 6th Stitch Fix in the mail on Saturday, which means I need your help narrowing down what to keep and what to send back ASAP – since I have to get this in the mail soon! I took a little break from getting any deliveries from Stitch Fix over the holidays (because lord knows I did enough shopping for myself when I should have been shopping for others! haha) – so it was fun to see this happy little box come in the mail this weekend!

I had mentioned in the notes to my stylist that we are heading to San Francisco to shoot an engagement session in late February and I would love some pieces that work well for being a tourist there this time of year. Overall, I’m really happy with my Fix and think my stylist, Logan, did a great job “getting” me and my style! 🙂

But enough chatter from me – let’s get to the five pieces they sent!!

Piece 1: Market & Spruce – Light Gray Benzer Mixed Material Sweater

First Impression: I was excited to see this in my Fix when I pulled it out! I’m a big fan of gray (since I have lots of bright accessories to top it off with), but was curious how this pretend layered look would work…

Final Thoughts: I think I like it! I don’t know?! What do you guys think?

Piece 2: Octavia – Blue Gilbert Houndstooth Knit Infinity Scarf

First Impression: Oooo! Pretty!! It is super soft and I’m kind of a sucker for houndstooth.

Final Thoughts: Again – I think I like it?! I don’t know – what do you guys think? I like that it is an infinity scarf because those type of scarves are so no-fuss and always lay properly. Plus, I’m totally obsessed with scarves, so there’s that.

Piece 3: Kut from the Kloth – Black Denna Skinny Jean

First Impression: Oh no they didn’t! I’m a sucker for skinny pants of all kinds. Ah!

Final Thoughts: I know these pants will last and wear well (since I have the gray cords from this same brand!), and I think the fit is spot on. Plus, they will be nice to dress up outfits if I want something other than jeans to wear… Thoughts?

Piece 4: Splendid – Olive Shea Cowl Neck Thermal Top

First Impression: LOVE the color and fabric (also happen to be a sucker for thermal tops/henleys/etc.), so I was stoked upon first glimpse, but was nervous once I pulled it out and held it open… it seemed pretty drape-y which made me iffy.

Final Thoughts: This is way too big on me. Right? I get that it is supposed to be loose, but this is just huge… Bummer because I would have loved this color and fabric in another silhouette.

Piece 5: Mavi – Navy Kalie Denim Jacket

First Impression: Hmmm. I’m not sure I can pull off a denim jacket (though I did own a super faded one in college – lol)!

Final Thoughts: It is pretty tiny. I think it looks good open, but should I be able to button it…? Because, I can’t. haha. I wasn’t sure about this whole denim jacket thing, then made the mistake of going to Pinterest and typing in “Denim Jacket” and found all these women rocking denim jackets and it kind of made me want one, but I’m not sure this is the one (or if it fits)…. unless not ever buttoning a jacket is normal? haha.

So that’s it, guys!! Tell me your thoughts!! I’m really on the fence about most of this month’s Fix – I could go either way – so help a girl out!! I’m forever thankful!! 😉 xoxo
