Today is our last morning at Turning Tides. I’m such a mix of emotions – I can’t quite wrap my head around it. The friendships I’ve made this week, the growth that has happened not only in the women around me, but in myself has surprised me. I came into this without really any expectations and what has come from it is more than I could have ever dreamed.
These women inspired me, pushed me, made me laugh, stood by me while I cried, and have ultimately changed me for the better.
I’ll have much more to say about the week after I give everyone the biggest hugs humanly possible today when they leave, and then have some quiet time alone to reflect on this experience.
