I can’t believe in just over a week it will already be Melissa and Ryan’s wedding day!! Time has flown since I first met up with these two over drinks in Lincoln Square! I had the best time just hanging out with them and hoped from our first meeting that they would decide to let us hang out with them more on their big day too. 🙂 I’m so happy they did!
For their engagement session they decided to do something close to home – so we wandered around their Old Town neighborhood and took in all the adorable character we could handle! James and I go to the gym (rarely – haha) around the corner from where we shot this session, and yet somehow I had no idea this little area existed! The houses are so cute, and there are so many beautiful little nooks to shoot in – I was in photographer’s heaven! Then we closed out the session with a little vino on their rooftop, with a stunning view of the city. Yes please!! I just loved how cozy and casual this session was, which felt just like Melissa & Ryan… low-key and awesome. 🙂
